Brick making machine safety operating procedures: dangerous behaviors that must be avoided
Operating a brick making machine is a riskier job in a brick factory. In order to ensure personnel safety, equipment integrity and production continuity, the following dangerous behaviors must be regarded as "high-voltage lines" and are absolutely prohibited under any circumstances.
1. Absolute prohibition involving the operation of equipment
When the machine is in motion or ready, the following actions are extremely dangerous:
It is strictly prohibited to come into contact with moving parts while the equipment is running:
It is absolutely prohibited to put your hands, head or any tools into the mold area or between moving parts for cleaning, adjustment or removal when the mold is closed, the indenter is pressed down, the vibration table is working or the push plate mechanism is running.
If you need to deal with abnormalities such as material jamming in the mold, you must first press the emergency stop button and wait until the equipment has completely stopped and the power (such as hydraulic pressure) has been released before proceeding.
It is strictly prohibited to perform maintenance, lubrication or cleaning while the equipment is running:
It is prohibited to add oil while the belt and chain are rotating, and it is prohibited to check the wiring while the motor is running.
All maintenance work must be carried out after the equipment is completely powered off and shut down, and measures to prevent accidental startup (such as locking and tagging out) are taken.
It is strictly prohibited to climb, lean or sit on the equipment:
The equipment is not a workbench or seat, and any unnecessary physical contact may cause serious injury due to sudden activation of the equipment or slipping.
2. Core prohibitions related to operating regulations
Wrong operation methods will directly lead to accidents:
Overloading or illegal use of equipment is strictly prohibited:
It is prohibited to increase the operating pressure of the equipment beyond the rated range in order to pursue output.
It is prohibited to use equipment to press raw materials that exceed its specified hardness or size.
Simplifying or skipping safety procedures is strictly prohibited:
It is prohibited to remove, short-circuit or shield the safety guard, safety grating, interlock device and emergency stop switch for convenience.
Before starting up, a no-load test run must be carried out to confirm that there are no abnormal noises and abnormalities before being put into production.
It is strictly prohibited to operate without concentration or fatigue:
It is strictly prohibited to chat, play with mobile phones or do other things unrelated to work during operation.
It is strictly prohibited to work after drinking alcohol or taking psychotropic drugs.
3. Strict prohibitions on collaborative work
When multiple people are working together, chaos is a breeding ground for accidents:
Collaborative operations without unified command are strictly prohibited:
When installing molds, troubleshooting complex faults, or performing major repairs, if multiple people are required to cooperate, one person must be clearly designated to give unified command on site. Others must strictly follow the instructions and are strictly prohibited from doing their own thing.
It is strictly prohibited to stand or pass under lifting objects:
When using a crane or forklift to lift molds or heavy objects, no one is allowed underneath or on the route.
4. Bottom-line prohibitions involving personal protection
Personal protection is the last barrier and cannot be missing:
It is strictly prohibited to work without wearing protective equipment correctly:
When entering the production area, you must wear a safety helmet, non-slip protective shoes, and tight overalls correctly. Female workers must tie their long hair into a cap.
Protective glasses and masks must be worn when performing operations that may generate splashes or dust.
Summary: Safety bans are lessons written in blood
Behind every safety ban, there may be a real serious accident that occurred. Operators must internalize these regulations into instinctive reactions and muscle memory. Managers have the responsibility to ensure that “what is forbidden is done” through continuous training, strict supervision and clear rewards and punishments. Please always remember: a compromise or a fluke on safety procedures may result in irreparable lifelong disability or even life costs. Safe operation is not only responsible for yourself, but also for your family and co-workers.
