Red line for safe operation of brick making machine: these dangerous actions must not be done
Operating a brick making machine is a job that requires a high degree of responsibility and discipline. In order to ensure the personal safety of you and others and prevent serious damage to the equipment, the following safety "red lines" must be remembered as iron rules and must not be touched under any circumstances.
1. Red line 1: It is strictly prohibited to touch the mold and indenter area while the equipment is running.
This is the core and most fatal red line.
Absolutely prohibited: When the equipment is in any operating state (such as when the indenter is lowering or rising, or when the vibration table is working), it is strictly prohibited to extend hands, arms, tools or any other objects into the movement range of the mold, indenter or plate feeder.
Why: The pressure of the machine is as high as tens to hundreds of tons, and the action is rapid and automatic. Once a limb or foreign object enters, it will cause instant crushing, shearing or involvement, leading to serious injuries and accidents.
Correct approach: Any operations such as cleaning the mold, adjusting the bricks, and troubleshooting must be performed after the machine is completely shut down and the main power supply is cut off. Never take risks just to "save time."
2. Red Line 2: It is strictly prohibited to dismantle or bypass safety protection devices
All protective covers, protective doors, and safety interlock switches are life-saving devices.
Absolutely prohibited: To facilitate observation, cleaning or the so-called "improving efficiency", privately dismantle, destroy or render ineffective safety protection devices (such as photoelectric switches, mechanical guardrails).
Why: These devices are a last-resort barrier designed to physically isolate the operator from hazardous moving parts, or to automatically shut down when personnel approach. To remove them is to expose yourself to a huge risk without protection.
Correct approach: Keep all safety devices intact and effective. If damage is found, stop the machine immediately and report for repair. Do not use it until it is repaired.
3. Red Line 3: It is strictly prohibited to operate due to fatigue, drunkenness or distraction.
The operator's mental state is directly related to safety.
Absolutely prohibited: Operating the device when you are tired, after drinking alcohol, taking psychotropic drugs, or when you are distracted.
Why: Brick making machine operation requires constant observation and quick reaction. Poor status will significantly delay judgment and action, and it is easy to cause misoperation in an instant, leading to accidents.
The right thing to do: Stay energetic and focus on the task at hand. Do not chat with others or make phone calls while operating.
4. Red line 4: Untrained or authorized personnel are strictly prohibited from operating independently.
Machines are not toys, and they cannot be learned at a glance.
Absolutely prohibited: Allowing novices, temporary workers, or visitors without system safety and operation training to start and operate the equipment alone.
Why: Being unfamiliar with machine capabilities, safety points, and emergency handling methods is extremely irresponsible for the safety of yourself and others.
Correct approach: All operators must undergo strict training, be familiar with these safety regulations and operating procedures, and can only take up their posts after passing the assessment. During the operation, skilled workers should be present to provide guidance and supervision.
5. Red line 5: It is strictly prohibited to operate the equipment while it is sick or overloaded.
To protect your equipment is to protect yourself.
Absolutely prohibited: Forcibly continuing production when the equipment has abnormalities (such as abnormal noise, oil leakage, excessive vibration, control failure); or in order to rush the work, production exceeds the maximum filling capacity and working pressure of the equipment design.
Why: "Sick" operation will accelerate the expansion of faults, which may lead to sudden breakage of components and bursting of hydraulic systems. Overload work will cause the motor and structural parts to bear excessive stress, causing catastrophic failure.
Correct approach: Stop the machine immediately for inspection if any abnormality is found. Strictly produce according to the rated capacity of the equipment and do not act recklessly.
6. Red line 6: Irregular wearing of personal protective equipment is strictly prohibited
This is your last personal line of defense.
Absolutely prohibited: Operate without wearing necessary safety protective equipment, including a hard hat, dust mask, protective glasses, sturdy work gloves, and anti-smash and puncture-proof labor shoes.
Why: Serious injuries can be caused by flying particles, dust, occasional debris, and accidental drops of heavy tools and pallets. Long hair and loose clothing are at risk of being caught.
Correct approach: Before entering the work area, you must be "fully armed", put your long hair into a hat, and fasten your clothes.
In summary, safety is the prerequisite for all production. Remember these six "life-saving" red lines and internalize them into unshakable operating instincts, so that this steel equipment can create value for you while not becoming a source of danger. There are no shortcuts to safety, and every violation is a gamble on yourself and your family's happiness. Please respect the machine and strictly abide by the procedures.
