Safety Precautions in Brick Production: Safety Management of Equipment Operation and Work Environment
Ensuring safety in brick production begins with adhering to proper equipment operation procedures. Before starting the machine, all components must be checked for proper functioning, especially the molds, fastening screws, and transmission parts, ensuring everything is in place. While the machine is running, never touch the molds or moving parts with your hands or tools. Clearing jammed materials or adjusting the equipment must only be done after the machine has completely stopped and the power has been disconnected. Operators should be familiar with the location of the emergency stop button and wear appropriate work clothes, gloves, and dust masks to prevent clothing from being caught in or inhaling dust.
Safety management of the work environment is equally important. The production area should be kept clean and aisles clear. Raw materials and finished bricks should be stacked securely to prevent them from slipping and causing injury. Electrical wiring must be properly installed, avoiding dragging on the ground or being exposed to prevent the risk of electric shock or tripping. In areas prone to dust generation, such as mixing and pressing, ensure adequate ventilation; if conditions permit, water spraying can be used to suppress dust and reduce the impact on respiratory health.
Furthermore, safety awareness is the guarantee of long-term production safety. Regular maintenance of the equipment is recommended; any abnormal noises or vibrations should be immediately stopped and inspected. New workers must undergo safety operation training before starting work, understanding basic risks and corresponding countermeasures. Team members should cultivate the habit of reminding each other, avoiding fatigue and violations of operating procedures, and jointly creating a safety-conscious production environment to ensure continuous and stable production.
