First-level mold maintenance

First-level mold maintenance refers to the daily maintenance of the mold by the operator during production, mainly including cleaning, lubrication and inspection.

1. Maintenance during mold installation

1. Before mold installation, clean the upper and lower surfaces of the mold to ensure that the mold installation surface and the press workbench are not damaged by pressure and the parallelism of the upper and lower installation surfaces of the mold during production.

2. After the mold is installed, open the mold and clean all parts of the mold, especially the guide mechanism. For surface molds, clean the mold surface to ensure the quality of the parts.

3. Lubricate the sliding parts of the mold and apply grease.

Check all parts of the mold, especially the safety parts. Such as: safety side pins, safety screws, side guards, punching waste channels, etc.

2. Maintenance during production

1. Regularly oil the corresponding parts of the mold during production. Such as: the pressure ring and radius of the drawing die; the tool mouth of the trimming die; the flanging knife block, etc.

2. Regularly clean the waste from the small hole waste channel of the trimming punching die.

3. Maintenance after production

1. After the production is completed, the mold should be fully inspected.

2. The mold is fully wiped to ensure the cleanliness of the mold.

3. Clean the waste in the mold and ensure that there is no waste in the waste box.

4. Feedback the use status and post-use conditions of the mold truthfully on the mold summons.
